Common questions
What counts as one server?
One running instance of Xtream on one machine. Viewers, streams and bandwidth are never metered — only the number of servers you run.
Can I add servers later?
Yes. Change the number from your dashboard and billing adjusts immediately, prorated for the rest of the period. New keys are issued within seconds.
What if I need to move to new hardware?
Release the key from your dashboard and activate it on the new machine. Self-serve moves are limited to one per key every 30 days; contact support if a machine fails and you need it sooner.
Is there a free trial?
No. Xtream runs on infrastructure you already control, so there's very little to evaluate blind — read the docs, and if it doesn't work for you the first month is the only commitment.
Who handles payment and tax?
Paddle, acting as merchant of record. They collect VAT and sales tax where applicable and issue your invoices.
What happens if I cancel?
Your servers keep running until the end of the period you've paid for. After that they stop at their next check-in and refuse to start until you resubscribe.
